If you order a major appliance from home depot online to be shipped to the store for pickup (because theyre not in stock.)
Then you pickup the appliance, in our case we got a GE stackable washer dryer. If you get it home and it takes you longer than 48 hours from the time you pickup from store to set it up/ test it to make sure it all works. Then try to bring it back for ANY REASON. They wont accept it. Ours was still in the box, as we werent going home for a few days after pickup. We realized it wasnt the right one for us and tried to return it...unopened.
After going to the store, speaking to multiple managers, calling the website, no one could help us. They will not return any big appliances after 48 hrs for ANY reason. So you better hope it works, and you like it ASAP or kiss your $2000 goodbye and keep your garbage appliance.

I placed a large online order for pick up. I was coming from out of town and had rented a trailer. When I placed the order everything was in stock. A week later the order pick up date has changed 3 times with no notification. Tried calling the store and was in the queue for over 30min. Gave up and called the 800 number on the east coast. Now after going the that queue and finally talking to someone that had called the store they said the whole order wasn't in stock. So, a few issues. When I placed the order it said it was all in stock, now the dates changed 3 times for order pick up but with no notification. No email or call, nothing. Very unprofessional and incompetent way of doing business.
