(the parent company of GoodBelly Probiotics) was founded by two Natural Foods industry veterans, Steve Demos, a natural foods trailblazer and the founder and former president of WhiteWave, Inc., makers of Silk Soymilk, and Todd Beckman, former Vice President of Business Development and Operations at WhiteWave. Steve and Todd are joined by a small, but mighty team of movers and shakers, many of whom worked at WhiteWave and helped launch Silk Soymilk into the stratosphere.

The idea for the company came to Steve initially as he thought of his fellow Baby Boomers and how they could use some help having long, happy, healthy and active lives. He wanted to create products that helped support the health of his generation and the generations to come. In late 2006, Steve and Todd zeroed in on the sweet spot for the company’s products — ingredients with scientifically substantiated health benefits combined with the goodness and responsibility of healthy, natural foods.
