I love my new glasses, will shop again with Glassesusa
I'm honestly not sure about why people gave them one star. I ordered prescription sunglasses from them last year, and they were really good. So, now I decided to buy regular prescription glasses. I got them in the mail today, and they're much better than the ones I got from my optometrist.
Yes, it does take a while to get the glasses. I think people here didn't read about the process when they ordered them. Takes them a few days to actually make the lenses and a couple more days for quality inspection. After that, it gets put in the mail going via USPS. So yeah, you got to wait a couple weeks or so. But it takes the same amount of time if you got them from your optometrist.
Anyways, back to the quality. With my optometrist, I picked out the frames and they just ordered them. No additional options, like reduced glare, for screen use, super thin lenses, etc. When I got them from my optometrist, they were dirty and scratched beyond repair which obviously meant they didn't go through a quality control process.
So, I come to Glassesusa, and I choose the premium package. I am a programmer, so I'm on my computer all day and I like what the package was offering. I got similar frames to what I had from my optometrist. But I paid about $125 LESS at Glassesusa out of my own pocket. When I received them there were no scratches and they were clean. I put them on, and they just feel great and I can see perfectly.
From now on, I'll get my prescription from my optometrist, but will shop for my glasses at Glassusa.
