Andrea Biani is a New Zealand business, owned and operated by Directors Andrea and Vern Bailey in Ōtautahi, Christchurch. They purchased the business in 1996 from the original founder of the Andrea Biani Brand, Sebastiano ‘John’ Perillo. Perillo was an Italian immigrant who worked in the footwear industry for nearly seven decades. During the 1960’s Perillo created his first pair of shoes in a shed out the back of his family's New Lynn, Auckland home. 

Today, Andrea and Vern honour the brands history by continuing to design all Andrea Biani branded footwear here in Aotearoa. The manufacturing process takes place in Guangzhou, China where they visit annually to meet with the small team to create our handcrafted shoes. The factory is also a family owned and operated business and the workers are paid above a living wage and in ethical conditions. We have maintained this relationship for over 20 years! We pride ourselves on both creating and sourcing the best footwear ranges from international and local brands, helping kiwis find a great pair of shoes.
