All Watch Bands was born as a sister brand to existing company, Jewelry Service Center. Founded in 1991, they were headquartered in Glen Burnie, Maryland with several service centers in the Delmarva region. The founders of Jewelry Service Center sold replacement watch bands in addition to repairing jewelry, watches and replacing watch batteries. After eight years of operation, they realized their customers needed a better way to shop for watch bands, and at that time there were almost no options for this online. They saw a niche opening for specializing in selling an unmatched variety of quality brands at affordable prices. That notion, combined with a passion for entrepreneurship, resulted in the launch of allwatchbands.com in 1999 as one of the first online sellers of replacement watch bands and watch accessories.
