We have dined at Panini for the last 3 years and lately every time we receive our take out order, the portions keep getting smaller and smaller. We just picked up from the Genesse location and it was totally ridiculous compared to a year ago. Their special apparently are not special, just lower prices for much smaller portions. So don’t be fooled by their online specials!!! Unhappy customer

The flavor and service is amazing however, catering I would not recommend. We placed a large order for a bridal shower and a little before the event started they called to say they could not fulfill the order and had to transfer it to another restaurant. We had to pay the new restaurant and wait for the refund that lasted about a week from the original restaurant.The other location was 3-4 cities away and it threw our whole timeline off.
There wasn’t really an apology or anything done And everybody was super stressed ontop of the financial burden.
I understand unforeseen things happen however, management should do something to make sure the customer at least is happy after having to deal with so many inconveniences.
The person that was picking up food was coming from Buena Park and had to now pick up from long beach then deliver back to Downey.
