Odeon Cinema (Hanley) Review
We recently visited the Odeon Cinema in Hanley to watch Beetlejuice, and while the experience took an unexpected turn, the staff's professionalism truly stood out. About halfway through the film, a fire alarm went off, and we were asked to evacuate the building. Despite the disruption, the staff handled the situation flawlessly.
One staff member, in particular, deserves a special mention—Jack or Jacques ,(I hope that's his correct name). He’s a young member of the team, but his calm and professional demeanor during the evacuation was incredibly impressive. He provided clear instructions and reassured everyone, which helped keep the situation stress-free for the customers. He definitely deserves recognition for his excellent customer service!
The following day, as promised, we returned to the cinema to sort out a refund for the tickets. Rebecca,(manager) who helped us, was polite, efficient, and ensured the process went smoothly. Her friendly attitude really left a positive impression, and we appreciated how hassle-free everything was.
Overall, even though we didn’t get to finish our film that evening, the professionalism and attentiveness of the Odeon Hanley staff turned what could have been a frustrating experience into something much more positive. Thanks again to the night team for being so spot on—your dedication to customer service really made a difference! We’ll definitely be back.
