Ocado disrespect the disabled, and do not abide by equal opportunity
I am one of the people that has been affected by Ocado needing to cancel deliveries tomorrow.
As a homebound severely disabled person I have to have the opportunity to get food for the coming week. I rely on Ocado to do this.
I have booked somebody to cook on Thursday, this is a standing arrangement. Now there is no food for them to cook. I have no food for the coming week.
Ocado customer service were unwilling to find a solution or move beyond the script, which they regurgitate parrot fashion, which is suitable only for able-bodied people. They do not understand equal opportunity. They do not understand disability at all. This is both surprising and offensive.
In short, they were unwilling to do anything to help me.
I can only conclude that Ocado are very deliberately unwilling to abide by the rights of people with disabilities, when it comes to equal opportunity,
