o far I am completely disappointed and frustrated with Met life pet insurance. I submit everything that my vet provides me and yet all met life does is slow walk the claims. They mis identify records when I upload them and tell me the soap notes are missing, when they have been clearly uploaded. When my vets office resends the records, they don't get associated properly to the existing claim, which results in Met life emailing them again saying they haven't received a response. I had to call and speak to a CS rep and email him the records directly. Now that claim is back in a "processing" state. This claim was submitted on 9/7 and today is 10/5 and I still have not been reimbursed. This has been the same story with previous claims I have filed. Also, my vet prescribed cerenea because my puppy gets car sick. I was told that was being denied as "pre-existing". Huh? My dog throws up in the car when I have to take him to appts or visit friends/relatives. I can't leave him home alone. Ironically, Met life has no problem taking $75.00/month from my credit card in a very timely manner on the 24th of each month!
I truly believe they are purposefully slow walking claims so they can hold onto the money and allow it to gain interest in their accounts and then you eventually give up. I doubt I will stay with these losers.
