I paid just over £50 for a video from Phoenix Nights character Clinton Baptiste (clairvoyant). I completed the message information box with relevant information - hoping that the talent would do something just a little creative with it. No. Just 'They've written me an entire script' comment which really wasn't helpful or wanted. I requested a refund via email from Memmo. No response. I requested again. No response. I posted on X requesting a refund. Still nothing.
The worrying thing is, the talent, who my friends absolutely love, likely won't know that the message wasn't accepted. Memmo may not have informed him. Alongside this, Memmo's eagerness to ignore my refund requests really reflects the focus of that business.
I ended up buying a greeting card for my friends for a few pounds. Not ideal, but when you have to deal with a business such as Memmo that takes your money and ignores you afterwards, a card is a good option.
I'm steering clear of this company. I invite you to think carefully before trusting them with your money.
