I have been a Me & Em customer for many years and they have long been my go to for good quality, stylish work and casual pieces. That said, I have to agree with a lot of these reviews regarding Customer Services who often sound bored when you call, the length of time it takes for a refund and the guessing game about sizes (anywhere from 12 to 16 depending on the type of garment). I have also received pieces there were poorly finished and experienced being ignored in the Edinburgh shop, despite wearing their products at the time. Recently it seems that although there is a lot of newness, items go out of stock very quickly. I put something in my basket today that went out of stock before I could pay, it hasn't been out for long and is now out of stock in all but one size and not due back until sometime in December. It’s a bit disappointing to see I am not the only person noticing a bit of a decline in the past year.

Ordered present for my daughters birthday on 23rd September with 4 day delivery window & confirmation received which was acceptable. Received subsequent email that evening advising delivery would now be 9th October due to supplier issues. No mention of this on website or the fact the item was out of stock. Followed up this morning to ensure everything was on track for despatch tomorrow 9/10, only to be advised despatch is now pushed back until 14/10. Livid and formal complaint submitted. At this rate my daughter will be lucky to get the item in time for next years birthday.
