Terrible service. Only scamming people! We waited 2,5h in line beside having a reservation. We’re supposed to pick up the car at 9:30, they attended us only around 11:30. Then the car was not suitable for our trip, they don’t include proper info on the reservation to be aware off! So the guy decided to scam us and offer a different car for 80eur per day extra!

I wish I'd read these reviews before booking with Europcar. Dreadful company. They have charged an exorbitant amount of money for a combination of preexisting damage (alloy wheel) and a very minor scratch from vegetation that could easily polish out.
I was told by the Knock Damages department to raise a dispute with Customer Services. They in turn are refusing to deal with it and just bounce me back to the department that is the cause of the complaint..... Even though they have advised they will escalate it for me. Different people say different things and there is no consistency. Nothing is joined up.
What is consistent is how poor the service is.
Quite simply, avoid Europcar.
