£778.33 deducted from my account!
I cancelled my subscription with Desert Farms last year. Everything was fine for the first 5 months or so and the products are good. But, they then started double and triple charging me even though I only ever had a single subscription. It was very stressful trying to get the money back. I even ended up overdrawn because of it which was very anxiety-inducing as I am self-employed and primary carer to a disabled child. They never actually refunded me the final £111.19 they owed me.
Suddenly in August of this year they randomly deducted 6 lots of money from me even though I haven't been a customer since Autumn 2023. Naturally I raised this with them. They keep saying they are sorry and that they will refund me. They also said they would send me a complimentary pouch by way of apology but this has all just been empty promises so far and I will probably have to take them to small claims court.
Desert Farms will also comment on this post that they don't ship to the UK. If so why are they tolerating the existence of a Desert Farms dot co dot UK website with exactly the same branding and products and logo? Especially such a bad company which is bringing them in to disrepute? Every product I received from them had the same branding and logo as the mother company in the US and their bank reference has always been "DesertF".
Not only would I strongly advise anyone against using this company, I would also advise, if you have used them in the past, to ensure the bank puts a block on them. They are dishonest, unprofessional and untrustworthy.
