Bait and switch

Bait and switch. Online sell your car offer from local dealer. Made an appointment. Drive 25 miles to Sam Pack Five Star Ford to complete transaction. There is fine print that “The dealership will verify the condition of your vehicle before proceeding with the sale.” Upon arrival said he wasn’t sure where Cargurus got that number and they could offer significantly less (never looked at the condition). This is classic bait and switch and a dishonest business practice. Shame!

I was selling my car and in my opinion they made a knowing fraudulent statement.

I spoke with the Car Gurus per their request. The person whom answered the phone was completely unqualified and uncooperative. What a ridicules waste of my time.

I am taking my experience to the attorney general of my state to insure that no one else is treated like this
