The DFY process was quite frustrating
The overall end product was good; however, the process was quite frustrating. Being in USA and the tech team across the globe, 13-hours difference meant every time there was a request or question it became a 24-hours process, which often led to another question that I couldn’t move forward with until I received an answer 24-hours later. If I asked a question on a Friday I didn’t receive an answer till Monday again resulting in a long delay. There was a disconnect between the tech members which resulted in being asked multiple times for the same steps that had been completed already. Items that were time sensitive were timed-out and had to be repeated. A project that was supposed to take 3 weeks took almost 7 weeks, with 2-weeks of no progress due to confusion among tech members not knowing items had already been done. I feel if BuddyBoss is going to work with customers globally they need to consider staff that are located in various regions to service their customers in real time not in 24-hour intervals. I chose BuddyBoss because of the features that it offers and I’m pleased with the end product, but time is money and the frustration over the process resulted in my lower rating.
