Sour Punch Easter Chick Cupcake Recipe
Featuring Sour Punch Tropical Candy Dots
What you need:
1 For the baked cupcakes
Prepare vanilla cupcakes according to package directions, using yellow cupcake liners. Cool completely.
2 Place vanilla frosting in a bowl
Use orange decorating gel to pinch a "carrot" nose on each marshmallow. Use black decorating gel to draw two "coal" eyes on each marshmallow.
3 Add color to the frosting
Mix the vanilla frosting with yellow food coloring (or natural alternative) to make bright yellow icing.
4 Transfer frosting to a laminating bag and frost cupcakes
Fill a piping bag with frosting. If the frosting is thin, place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set. Spread a circle of frosting on each cupcake.
5 Open your Tropical Blends cupcakes and pick up the eyeball frosting!
Unwrap your Tropical Blends Sour Punch Bites. Remove the orange dots from the rest of the bag. Using a knife, cut a few triangles into each piece of bread. These triangles will be used as beaks and feet for the chicks.
Gently adhere two eyeballs, one orange beak and two orange feet to the frosting of each cupcake.
