How do you choose from the huge variety of Roborock vacuum robots? Smatdeals has compiled a list of all the points you need to consider before you buy so that you can find the stone sweeping floor sweeping robot that is right for you.
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the best Roborock sweeping robot on the market. Even more striking are the technological innovations that Stone Sweeper has incorporated into its new high-end sweeper. To the right of the direction of travel, there is a brush arm and a mini mop designed to assist in vibrating the mop plate, especially when cleaning corners.
LiDAR navigation is flawless. The S8 MaxV Ultra also comes with an RGB camera, allowing you to use the Robovac as a surveillance camera. The station also has a lot to offer: after the mopping equipment is cleaned, it is rinsed thoroughly with 140°F (60°C) hot water and then blown dry with hot air. The compartment next to the dust bag also contains a container for cleaning agents.
Happily, Stone Sweeper has surprisingly not raised the price of this vacuuming and mopping robot compared to last year's top-of-the-line model. The Stone Sweeper S8 MaxV Ultra has a suggested retail price of $1,799.
Pros.
The Stone Sweeper Q8+ is a vacuuming and mopping robot with suction power. The Stone Sweeper has a suction power of up to 5,500 Pa to ensure a thorough clean. Roborock has also fitted the Q8 Max+ with the same brushes as its current flagship, the S8 Pro Ultra. According to Stone Technology, the Q8 Max+ has a longer battery life compared to the S8 Pro Ultra.
The biggest difference is mainly in the functionality of the base station. The Q8 Max+ station has a suction function only. As a result, the station saves space and measures 30.5 × 44 × 44.8 cm. The price is the main reason why this robot is ahead of the Roborock Sweeper S8+ in our list of best robots. For comparison: the Roborock S8+ retails for $999 and the Q8 Max+ retails for $599.
Pros.
With a competitive price, consistent performance, and smart navigation, the Roborock S8 is a great choice for a top-of-the-line mid-range floor sweeper. Roborock has been producing great robotic vacuums for years, and this model handles all floor types of messes brilliantly. Best of all, it comes with a built-in mop pad, perfect for when you're dealing with an unexpected mess in the kitchen. It doesn't come cheap, selling for $750, but it's often on sale (including right now when you can get a significant price drop of $250 through Amazon).
Thanks to multiple sensors and lasers, the S8's efficient navigation is another strong point. The vacuum navigates even the most complicated floor plans well to ensure a thorough cleaning job. The lack of automatic garbage can emptying is a bit of a bummer, though if that's paramount, you have other good options (You can always upgrade to the Roborock S8 Plus, which has added the feature). Other than that, there's not much here that you're missing out on, making this an excellent mid-range option, especially for homes with a wide range of flooring types (including area rugs and other short-pile carpeting).
