For sellers, March is also the time when they can go to shelve new products, and the event day is a good time to test new products and build up traffic, as well as preview several annual promotions that follow.
However, a lot of sellers were painless about the promotion, "The promotion is just a holiday for head sellers to harvest traffic and non-head sellers."
